During the estimate, we talk through which materials make sense for each room based on how it's used, foot traffic, and moisture exposure — a bathroom or basement has different needs than a living room or bedroom.

We handle it. Subfloor evaluation and repair is part of how we approach every installation. If we find soft spots, uneven areas, or moisture damage when we pull up the old flooring, we address that before anything new goes down. It's included in the project scope — we're not going to lay new flooring over a problem and pretend it isn't there.

It depends on the square footage and material type, but most single-room installations complete in one to two days once we're on-site. Whole-house projects or jobs with significant subfloor work take longer. We give you a clear timeline in the estimate, and if something unexpected comes up — like subfloor damage we couldn't see until demo — we contact you right away and work around your schedule.

Not always, but it depends on the scope and location of the work. If permits are required — for example, if the installation is part of a larger remodel that involves structural or electrical work — we pull them and include the cost in your quote.
